I’m Paul Knights, a writer, photographer and environmental educator based in the Pennine hills of West Yorkshire.
Drawing on more than thirty years of experience working across conservation, agriculture, environmental philosophy and community engagement, my work explores the history, ecology and meanings of the landscapes we inhabit.
This website brings together my writing and photography, and provides a window into my work to help others engage with place and nature through guided walks and collaborative arts projects. Explore the sections below to learn more about my work.
